In addition to a vast assortment of auto parts available, an excellent value for money and speed in deliveries to sell a spare part online are necessary to have:
In recent years, the development of automotive engine oil lubricants has been constrained mainly by compliance with European regulations for car exhaust emissions. These regulations commonly known as Euro 4 engine; Euro 5 or Euro 6 have forced car manufacturers to substantially modify some engine components, in fact fuel pressure has increased significantly, reaching in some cases up to 2400 Bar, the EGR valve and the FAP or DPF particulate filter have been introduced , more efficient combustion chambers have been built with tapered pistons and more efficient oil scraper rings.
All this also had an impact on lubricants, in fact new specifications were born for lubricants for both diesel cars and in particular the Acea C1 -Acea C2 -Acea C3 and Acea C4 and for the Api SN petrol cars.
To all this we must add that in diesel fuel we went from 100 ppm of sulfur to 10 ppm of sulfur and it was like removing lead from petrol. In fact, both lead and sulfur are natural lubricants that assisted in the lubrication of the engine.
All this has meant that a new generation of engine oils known as Low Sap was born, this because they must have a low ash content and in particular in their formulation you cannot use Zinc Sulfur and calcium because they are poison for filters FAP and DPF. Low SAP lubricants always meet one of the Acea C1 -C2 -C3 or C4 specifications. Warning ! each of these specifications indicates a particular application, generally Acea C1 is for Ford and MAzda engines, Acea C2 for Mercedes - Volkswagen, Fiat and PSA group Acea C3 for Volkswagen, Fiat, Mercedes and Acea C4 for Renault. The Acea C4 is no better than the Acea C3 which is better than the Acea C2 as they are only different applications.
Viscosity is nothing more than the measure of resistance to the flow of fluid, it is measured in Cst (centistoke) always referred to a temperature because obviously the viscosity of a fluid varies with the variation of the temperature. Viscosity then measures me by counting how long it takes for a fluid to pass from one part of the viscometer to a certain temperature. It is important to choose the suitable viscosity of the engine oil based on the type of engine and the external climatic conditions. Choosing an engine oil with a viscosity that is too low for its use, for example 0w30 can cause the lubricant to break at high temperatures with the creation of hot contact points between piston and cylinder with wear and damage. Choosing too high a viscosity for your engine such as 10w40 can cause cold start difficulties, poor lubrication in the first few seconds of starting the engine, higher fuel consumption.
For petrol engines the Acea specifications are Acea A1 - A3 - A5 while the Api ones all begin with the letter S and the last one is the API SN +
For diesel engines for Acea specifications, the main difference is whether the engines are equipped with a FAP - DPF filter. If so and therefore we are talking about Euro 4 engines, the Acea specifications all begin with the letter C and are C1 C2 C3 C4 C5, while for diesel engines up to Euro 3 the Acea specifications in cmonician with the B and are B3 - B3
In our catalog you will find engine oil for cars of the main oil brands such as Shell Helix, Mobil 1, Castrol Edge, Selenia Wr, Bardahl Technos ect.
Choose the viscosity suitable for your vehicle: 10w40; 5w40; 5w30; 0w30 and 0w20
The use of a quality engine lubricant is fundamental on new engines, in fact the use of bad engine oil can create the following problems for your car:
