Rimula R6 MS is based on the proven Shell additive technology for exceptional piston cleaning. This is essential for long engine life.
- Low wear - long engine life
Rimula R6 MS meets the high demands of many European, American and Japanese builders with respect to mirror surface formation (Bore enamel) and valve train wear. This maximizes the life of the components.
- Fuel economy
Rimula R6 MS may be too high on fuel economy viscous motor oils by comparison.
Particularly suitable for use in a wide range of low emissions of modern commercial vehicles from Mercedes-Benz and MAN. It meets and exceeds the requirements partly from other European manufacturers, such as Volvo, Renault, DAF, Scania, Deutz and Iveco, as well as Cummins, Mack and many types of Japanese engines. For Caterpillar engines, it is not recommended.
- Low emission engines
Rimula R6 MS meets the requirements of most European manufacturers for Euro 2, Euro 3 engines and for the most part Euro-4 and Euro 5 without diesel particulate filter and for Scania Euro 6 engines. For use in the latest low-emission engines with particulate filter (DPF), we recommend our special engine oils for low-emission applications Rimula R6 LM and Rimula R6 LME.
