Reduced maintenance
Shell Rimula R6 LME was developed in collaboration with leading engine manufacturers, and offers excellent levels of piston cleanliness in the most recent engines. Approved by Mercedes-Benz and other brands for applications with extended oil change intervals, Shell Rimula R6 LME has shown, in the MB OM501 engine test, to exceed the level of piston cleaning obtained with the reference oil by 25%. How to use Shell Rimula R6 LME oils safely
If used correctly for the application for which they are intended, it is unlikely that Shell Rimula R6 LME oils pose significant health and safety risks. Avoid skin contact and use impervious gloves to handle used oil. If oil gets on your skin, immediately wash it with soap and water. To dispose of the used oil, take it to an authorized collection center, or contact the Mandatory Consortium of Used Oils. Do not pour it onto the ground, into drains or into water.
