Shell Diala S3 ZX-I is a high quality inhibited dielectric insulating oil formulated specifically with refined mineral oils with an extremely low sulfur content. It offers very high oxidation stability and excellent dielectric and low temperature properties. Shell Diala S3 ZX-I passes new and existing copper corrosion tests.
Transformers : all types and applications of current transformers, for example generators transformers, shunt reactors and distribution transformers
Electrical equipment : components such as rectifiers, circuit breakers and panels
Performance, features and benefits
Extended oil life: Shell Diala S3 ZX-I is a completely inhibited oil that offers extraordinary performance in terms of oxidation and long life. It is also suitable for applications with high loads.
Transformer protection : Shell Diala S3 ZX-I is produced using a base oil with an extremely low level of sulfur, which makes it inherently non-corrosive to copper without passivation. Shell Diala S3 ZX-I passes all copper corrosion tests: DIN 51353 tests (silver bar test) and ASTM D1275 tests, in addition to the most recent and rigorous IEC 62535 and ASTM D1275B tests.
System efficiency : the good properties of the oil at low temperatures facilitate the adequate transfer of heat inside the transformer, even at very low starting temperatures.
